flight preparation

Flight preparation and planning - how does it work?

  • You must also meet certain requirements for the flight

    • You do not weigh more than 100kg (if so, please ask me about the possibilities)

    • You are not taller than 1.95

    • You are physically and mentally fit
(you don't have to be an athlete, but you should be able to get on a plane alone)

    • You are 18 years old
(otherwise an agreement with your parents and me is necessary)

  • If everything fits, we will agree together when and where we want to fly
    (also where)

  • In addition, it is important that we catch a day with weather suitable for flying
    That means:

No storm/ strong gusts | dry weather | good visibility (no fog or low clouds)

  • If the above two points are met, I will take over the flight planning.
    This includes, among other things:

    • Retrieving NOTAMs (important airspace information)

    • Calculation of flight times and fuel quantities

    • Obtaining detailed weather information

    • charter

"Ready for Takeoff" - Now it starts!

  • Everything regarding flight preparation fits together and we meet at the airfield

  • There I will carry out a pre-flight inspection of the aircraft (general condition, functional test of the controls, oil and water, documents and much more)

  • Once this is completed, there will be a short briefing in which we will discuss the upcoming flight

  • This is followed by the safety briefing

  • Now it's finally starting! We're getting on the plane and carrying out our flight. Taking photos and filming is allowed on board. You're sitting in the front row next to me and have the best view.

FAQ:

  • What do I need to bring with me?

    • I recommend sunglasses and comfortable clothing (please without fringes and not too loose to avoid them getting caught in the plane)

  • How many people can fly together?

    • There is always only room for one guest, as I travel with two-seater aircraft

  • What if I feel sick?

    • I have appropriate "hygiene bags on board" and we can cancel the flight in this case if necessary. (I will then only charge for the actual flight time)

  • Can I bring spectators?

    • Sure! Spectators are always welcome :-)
